Sevy Lewis Whipple was taken from us way too soon on Sunday October 9th. He was born June 28th of 2001, the second of 9 children to Trent and Kelli Whipple.
He grew up in Magna Utah and graduated in 2019 from Cyprus high school. He swam on the swim team and made state times in many of his events.
Sevy had a fun, easygoing personality that was hard not to love. He had a generous heart and was always willing and able to help out those he cares about. There was never a need to bargain or ask twice. There didn't seem to be anything that could bring him down, he lived a carefree life that made others feel comfortable when around him. He brought fun and happiness wherever he went.
He was funny and a little chaotic at times, he always said you could get him to do just about anything. It made it very easy for him to make friends with just about anyone. Some of Sevy’s favorite things include, working on cars with his dad, hiking with his friends, watching Spongebob with his siblings, and going out to catch Pokemon. His love for Pokemon was especially appreciated by his younger siblings and cousins who all loved to open up Pokemon cards with him.
Sevy spent the last two summers up in Alaska working on a fishing boat. He spent his downtime up there fishing even more, cooking up delicious meals for his crewmates, and drinking tea on the sea.
Memories of Sevy will survive through his 40 cousins, 20 aunts and uncles, 3 grandparents, his parents, his 8 siblings, and his numerous friends.
Sevy was and always will be loved and missed. We hope he is catching lots of cool Pokemon up in Heaven.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Spencer 4th Ward Building, 8181 W. Breeze Dr.
