Shirley Goodfellow Perfili Wright

Our mom, grandma, cousin, friend, Shirley Jean Goodfellow Perfili Wright passed away peacefully April 18, 2013. She was born October 26, 1928 in SLC, UT to Henry & Jeannette (Petersen) Goodfellow. She was an only child and grew up in the sugarhouse area. She graduated from South High School at age 16, (1945). She worked numerous jobs like the Lady Gay shop, Paragon Printing, Utah Social Hygiene, Tooele Army Depot (Civil Service), Kennecott Copper Mine/Refinery, and retired from Utah Liquor Commission (DABC) as purchasing agent (1973-1993). She had many talents like playing the piano and organ, crocheting, sewing baby stuff and dance costumes. She loved her family and enjoyed being around them. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints taught Primary and Relief Society lessons. She was a Visiting Teacher, Primary President and went to the temple regularly. She loved the lord and enjoyed doing his work. We love you and will miss you mom. Thank you for all you taught us. Preceded in death by parents; son in law, Douglas Haws. Survived by 5 daughters that she loved, Judy (Brent), Shirley (David), Janice (Gene), Julie (Scott), and Janalee; 19 grand children & 36 great grandchildren.
