Sterling L. Andreason

1928 - 2010

Our beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Sterling Lynn Andreason passed away August 22, 2010 in Reno, Nevada.  He was born May 7, 1928 in Payson, Utah to John Harry and Nellie Elmer Andreason.  He married Diana Evans in 1948.  Their marriage was later sealed in the Oakland LDS Temple; she died December 4, 1998.

Sterling enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, and playing pool, and he loved restoring old cars.  He was a devoted grandfather and had a special relationship with Skye and Fess.

He is survived by children, Joan (Bill) Duckworth, Cheryl Lynn (Dean) Woodruff, Sterling "Bud" (Janis) Andreason, and Diana Gaye (Tim) Brose; 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; brother, Don (Beth) Andreason; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents; step mother, Clara Caldwell; wife; son, Randy; brother, Elmer; and sisters, Blanche and Bea.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, where friends and family may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday 12-12:45 p.m.  Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
