Thomas Grant Mansfield

1936 - 2011

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Thomas Grant Mansfield passed away April 7, 2011 in Magna, Utah.  He was born December 29, 1936 in Payson, UT to Thomas and Evelyn Heal Mansfield.

Grant married Dona Jane Bringhurst in 1954; she passed away in 1986. Together they had four children, Michael Thomas (Elena), Leda Joyce (Kevin) Davis, Rick Gene (Sandi), and Thomas Lynn.

Grant married Sherry Clark in Dec. 1989.  Sherry has 3 children, Cheryl Southwick, Rebecca (Dave) Withers, and Charles Clark (Vickey).

The combined family has an overflowing house at Christmas time.

Grant loved life and lived it fast and tough, taking advantage of every opportunity.  He was a charter member of the Granger F.O.E. #3285.  His family and friends were special people in his life.  He enjoyed the cabin, loved horses and was a member of the Magna Mt Riders.  He worked 31 years for Kennecott Copper.

Survived by his wife; 7 children; 15 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; siblings, Colleen (Bob) Anderson, Jeanette (LeRoy) Jones, Jacque (Larry) Jacobs, Ray Pewtress, and Dian (Ron) Sadler.

Preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Dona; daughter-in-law, Christine May Mansfield.
