Born November 10, 1948, to Ben and Dixie Jones. Sadly, he left this world on August 18, 2023. He had prostate and bone cancer that took him away from us.
He grew up in Magna, Utah. Timothy worked as a welder with many other skills becoming a member of the Pipefitters and Steel Workers Local 140 Union from which he retired. Being a hard worker, he loved to work with his hands. Even in his spare time he enjoyed rebuilding cars, working on houses, and fixing almost anything.
He held great pride in his appearance, his homes, and his Welsh heritage. As a veteran he proudly served in the Army branch of the US Military during the Vietnam War where he was stationed in Germany.
A cowboy at heart, he loved to listen and dance to country music, and attended many live performances. Riding his Harley, he got the chance to travel with the UMF motorcycle club, enjoying the fellowship and friends he met while he was with them.
Married twice, divorced twice, he then settled in with partner Marie Hawks, her daughter Chelsey Hawks and her granddaughter Belladonna Stewart.
After a long life he suffered an accident which he survived that left him with crippling headaches and pain. He lived for 7 more years when recently diagnosed with two forms of cancer. He was given the relief of peace he searched for while asleep and will not be held captive by physical or mental ailments any longer. He joins those he loved who proceeded him in death.
Being the oldest of 5 siblings he is survived by: Ben Jones (Theresa), Lonnie Wallace (Tim), Daniel Jones, Ted Jones (Molly); his children Dawn Pupua (Sione), Ben Conner (Tiffany), 4 grandchildren and 1 granddaughter.
There will be an informal graveside service at the Pleasant Green Cemetery in Magna at 3pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Timothy lived, laughed, and loved. He will be missed.
