Todd Stephens

Todd Stephens, of Salt Lake City, Utah was born on July 24^th, 1955, and returned home to his Heavenly Father on June 30^th, 2023, at the age of 67. He suffered from several health issues most of his adult life to include mental illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Charlyne; Aunt Rainey (whom he celebrated the same birthdate); and Marlene (Maggie) the mother of his children. He is survived by his brother Allen Rocky Stephens; sisters Kim S Unsworth (Gary), Kristie S Bonnett (David), Karyn S David (Brad Nielson); children, Todd Allen, (Holly), Stephanie, and Jeff Colt, (Kayla); 6 grandchildren, Mckenna Marie, Kaden Todd, Isaiah, Oakley, Braelynn, Daxton; and a lot of nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved him dearly.

Todd made his living as a skilled carpenter, and he loved going camping and fishing in the great outdoors. He had a calming presence, and the biggest heart; even amid his own struggles, he reached out to many patients battling their own mental health issues. This world has lost a beautiful soul, and to say he will be missed is an understatement. May he finally know peace.

Family and Friends are invited to share in the celebration of Todd’s life. A viewing will be held on Monday July 3, 2023, at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South Magna Utah, at 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm, at the same location. Members of his immediate family are invited to attend a private viewing from 10:30 -11:00 am.
