Treva M Jeffers

Born July 21st, 1940 to the late Levi Massengale and Pauline Lowe Massengale, Treva was the 5th of 12 children. She loved to cook, had unshakable faith, and modeled service and hard work. Treva passed at the age of 82 on August 30th, 2022.

Treva loved challenging herself to grow and had an incredible work ethic she modeled for her children. Whether it was experimenting and perfecting new dishes in the kitchen, setting an example of the importance of education for her children, or her dedication to service, she challenged herself to always work hard at improving. When health permitted, she loved to travel by motorcycle, plane, or cruise ship. She enjoyed her travels with her husband Hurstle most. She was a gifted ceramist and seamstress, and loved creating beautiful things to wear and display. Treva loved music, books, her roses, garden, and especially her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She is survived in death by her husband, Hurstle Jeffers, daughters, Becky Harwood (Scott Harwood) and Melisa Jeffers (Dan Kesler) and her six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren as well as ten of her twelve siblings. She was loved and will be missed.
