Vincenza Mangio Rossi, beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away on August 17, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Ut.

She was born in S. Alessio Siculo, Sicily on November 20, 1920 to Carmelo and Giuseppa Mangio.  She married Guido Porco in 1950 and immigrated to the US.

Wherever she lived she sought out friends that became a part of her family and we thank each and every one of them.

She moved to Utah in 1971 and later divorced.  She married Mike Rossi in July 1986; he preceded her in death in August 2008.

Survived by her two children, Tony (Cally Johnson) Parker and Maria (Jack) Fandl; grandchildren, Greg (Camille) Simister, Theresa Parker, Elizabeth Parker, Zack Fandl, Misty (Derek) Huntsman, and Stefanie (Brandon) Reed; Great grandchildren, Jaxson, Lincoln, and Stevie; in Italy a brother, Salatore (Sarena) Mangio; and 2 sisters-in-law.

Preceded in death by parents in Italy; brothers, Phillip, Natale, Giuseppe, and Nino; and sisters, Venera and Carmela.

Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2001 at Our Lady of Lourdes, 2840 S. 9000 W.  Friends and family may call Sunday 6-7 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, where a prayer service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m.  Committal service: Mt.
