1941 - 2011

Our beloved father, son, grandfather, and brother, Wendell Albert Spackman returned to his Father in Heaven on June 17, 2011surrounded by family and friends.

Wendell was born September 26, 1941 to James Brigham and Velda Hodges Spackman in Cache County, Utah.  He married his sweetheart, Loretta Richman in Logan on June 19, 1964.

Dad loved to work with his hands and was a great wood worker.  He also loved people and flourished in his job at the Home Depot.

He is survived by his three sons, Shane, Ryan (Amanda), and Brad (Megan); six grandchildren; his mother; four brothers and four sisters.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife and his father.

The family would like to thank all of the friends and neighbors who helped dad during his last months.  A special thanks to the staff of Utah Hospice Specialists who helped make dad's last week as comfortable as possible.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Sunnyvale Ward, 3671 S. Oldham St. (4180 W.), where friends and family may call both Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 10-10:45 a.m.  Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
