Wendy Kay Nelson, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 64. She brought warmth, strength, and love to everyone around her, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Wendy was born on August 23, 1961, and lived a life full of compassion and devotion to her family. She is survived by her loving husband, John Nelson; her mother, Nancy Rushton; her children, Kimberly Wolfblack, Tammy Nelson, and Keven Nelson; her mother-in-law, Pearl Nelson; her son-in-law, Royal Wolfblack; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Wendy’s life was one of giving and caring, and her love for her family was boundless.

She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Rushton; son, David Nelson, and her brother, Kelly Rushton. Their memories lived on in her heart, and now they are reunited in peace.

A viewing will be held on April 17, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 S., Magna, Utah, followed by funeral services from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Burial will take place at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S., West Valley City, Utah, at 2:30 p.m.

Wendy’s life was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
