"Minnow"

William T. Bailey "Minnow" passed away unexpectedly Oct. 23, 2012 at his home in Kearns, UT. He was born in Salt Lake City Nov. 29, 1942 to Chester R and Jennie Goddard Bailey. Bill was raised in Garfield, UT. He attended Cyprus High and served his country in the US Army in Germany for 3 years. After the military he worked and retired from KCC after 30 years. To his co-workers he was known as a great cook. Bill married Larraine Farris and they had 2 children, Scott and Jenilyn. They later divorced. Married Leslie Batchelor and they had four children, Rickie, Ron, Shane, and Brandon. They later divorced but remained good friends. Bill was known as a very tender hearted person. He loved his kids, grandkids, and family dearly. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting, sports and his many friends. Preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Dylan; his three brothers, Gene, David, and Johnny. Survived by Leslie; his six children; nineteen grandkids; twelve great grandchildren; sisters, Sherry (Paul) Christison and Joan (Dick) Pearce; many special nieces and nephews. He was loved by everyone and will be missed dearly.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, where friends and family may call both Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 11-11:45 a.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
