“Bill”

On December 6 th , 2015, William “Bill” Carl Sutton, surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully.  He was born and raised in Magna UT, the city he loved. He attended Cyprus High School where he played trumpet in the band, swam on the swim team and graduated in 1959.  He served in the US Army Reserves for 7 years, during which time he married and had two children with Judith Doris Thomas Ahlers, they were married for 9 years.  After, he married Cherri Lynne Mounteer Parduhn and had a third child, they were married 10 years.  In his life he attended trade school and accomplished many degrees in electronics, and electrical engineering.  Bill retired after 25 enjoyable years of employment with Kennecott.  He was full of life, loved people and the outdoors.  He truly enjoyed camping and fishing with his children, golfing with family and friends and spending time with his dogs. Bill was a loving husband, father and friend who was known for having a huge heart, being very generous and always having the ability to make everyone around him laugh.  Even in his final hours he still managed to keep his sense of humor.  The family would like to give a special thanks to his wonderful nurse Suzanne Allen with Aspire Hospice and his friend Suzanne Traylor for their great love and care in his last months.  He is survived by Brenda Sutton Harnett (Paul), Jeff Sutton (Tracy), Angie Sutton Dail (Tony), five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
