WILMA MARY WILLIAMS MORRISON

Wilma Mary Williams Morrison was born September 2, 1935 in Strawberry, Duchesne County, UT.  Her parents, William Edward Williams & Ivy Gertrude Baum, welcomed her as the youngest of their 5 children. Wilma grew up on the family farm in Strawberry and learned to work hard; an ability that has served her well throughout her life.  Wilma graduated from BYU in Elementary Education and taught for 36 years in a profession that she loved.  She married Melvin G. Morrison in June of 1967, and they were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple. Mom passed away Dec. 15, 2012 of natural causes. Wilma is preceded in death by her son, DaWayne Morrison; her parents; sisters, Rella Wardle and Ivy Thorn; and brother, Bill Williams. She is survived by husband, Melvin; sister, Grace Pinoli; children, Rita (Kelly) Lawrence, Kathy (Chuck) Nuesmeyer, Mary Lou (Bill) Roeling, Vernon Morrison; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  Our dear mother will be deeply missed, yet her wonderful example will be with us always.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. December 22, 2012 at Lake Ridge 11 th Ward, 7825 W. Sharon Dr. (3340 S.). Visitations will be held Friday 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. Magna Main St. and Saturday 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
